Who this site is for

This is a personal portfolio website. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

What this site collects

This site does not run a contact form, user accounts, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels.

• Hosting logs: The host (for example Netlify) may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request time for security and reliability. That processing is controlled by the host’s own policies.
• Email you send: If you email me, I receive whatever you include in that message (typically your email address and message content).
• Clipboard copy: The “copy email” button only copies my address on your device. It does not send data to a server.
• Cookie notice preference: Your “Got it” choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage only.

Third-party services loaded by the site

To display fonts, icons, and placeholder avatars, pages may request assets from:

• Fontshare (Satoshi font)
• Google Fonts (Noto Sans JP on Japanese pages)
• cdnjs / Cloudflare (Font Awesome)
• ui-avatars.com (generated avatar images on resume pages)
• GitHub and Discord (outbound links you choose to open)

Those providers may process your IP address and related technical data under their own privacy policies. See also the Cookie Policy and Licenses.

How data is used

I use emails you send only to reply and, if relevant, discuss work. I do not sell personal data. I do not run marketing email lists from this site.

Data deletion request

If you want me to delete personal data I hold about you (for example an email you sent), email orallojohnjames@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. I will confirm and delete what I control, except where I must keep something for legal or security reasons. Hosting-provider logs are controlled by the host and may follow their retention rules.

This portfolio is operated from Tokyo, Japan. Local consumer and privacy laws may apply depending on where you live.
